COVID-19 POLICIES & GUIDELINES 

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE MAC?

  • TheMAC staff are screened at the start of each work day to ensure they are symptom-free via thermometer and symptom self-assessment.

  • Our representatives will be expected to wear a face covering at all times except while in the field.

    • While in the field representatives will be asked to wear masks during group discussions, working in pair, or when within 8ft of guests, but not expected to wear masks outside during strenuous activity, for example uphill travel.

  • Robust cleaning routines have been implemented for all gear provided to clients by the guide services, along with surfaces guests come in contact with over the course of their experience.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT OF OUR GUESTS?

  • Any guest experiencing symptoms of COVID must not arrive for their trip and contact us immediately to reschedule.

  • Arrive with your own face covering, face coverings are required at all times and are not provided by TheMAC.

  • Arrive in activity-appropriate attire, as this will help to minimize time.

SANITIZING & SOCIAL DISTANCE PRACTICES

  • TheMAC will follow all state and county guidelines regarding public gathering and capacities

  • TheMAC is not responsible for the actions or efforts of its Guide Partners, in following all state and county guidelines regarding capacities and cleaning / sanitizing.

WHEN TO WEAR FACE COVERINGS:

  • Clients must wear a face coving at all times when approaching or interacting with TheMAC staff, the staff of our guide partners, and around other guests

  • Guests must wear a face covering when entering indoor spaces – i.e. office, changing rooms, and bathrooms

  • All guests are required to arrive for any reserved activity with their own face covering. Face coverings are NOT required to be worn by guests while skiing one by one downhill.

  • A SYNTHETIC NECK GAITER or BUFF is appropriate for check-in and indoor spaces of our facility, the shuttle ride, and is recommended for on-hill or during activity use if you choose to wear a face covering.

  • A COTTON OR PAPER MASK is appropriate for check-in and indoor spaces of our facility, and the shuttle ride, but is NOT recommended for during activity use.

MEDICATIONS

  • Medications are encouraged to stay with the guest so they don’t have to be passed between you and your guide.

TRANSPORTATION

  • Guests are responsible for all transportation to and from an activities designated start location

ACTIVITY EXPERIENCE

  • You will have a professional guide on each of our activities

  • It is up to the guide’s discretion if he/she wants to use a face covering while guiding in the field. It is strongly recommended that guides wear face coverings as much as possible during the activity when possible and when not able to maintain physical distancing.

  • Guests will be encouraged to tip guides through Venmo, Paypal, ect. to further minimize contact.
